Offering Solutions to all Your Senior Needs

Excellent speakers, music, food, fun, door prizes

Featured speakers will cover Medicare benefits, home health care and elderlaw.

Prior to and following the meeting, informational booths will provide additional materials on durable medical supplies. You will receive a free blood pressure reading and anti-oxident levels tested. Refreshments and entertainment will also be provided. Please call Trinity Baptist at 787-3740 to let them know how many from your church will be attending.

Spanish for Senior Adults (65 & up)

Would you like to learn to speak Spanish?  Here is your chance.  Classes will be offered 2 hours per week from July to December at Forest Hills Baptist Church.  The ONLY charge will be for the cost of the textbook (about $20.00).  The group may choose from the times available.  The teacher is Paulina Rodriguez Ortega from Columbia, S.A.  She is a continuing education instructor at Wake Technical College.  Please contact Forest HIlls Baptist Church if you are interested at 828-6161 or call Andy Anderson at 782-8630.  Muchas Gracias!

The Revolution Needs List

Would you like to help a new church start?  The Revolution is a new church start and they are finally moving into a building where they can have room for a nursery and children's area.  They have the following items if you or your church could assist in.

Nursery:

  • cribs
  • rocking chair
  • changing table
  • microwave (for warming bottles)
  • small dorm size refrigerator (to store bottles, etc.)
  • storage cabinet
  • play mat

Children's Area:

  • Art Supplies
  • Book Shelves
  • Erasable Marker Wall Boards
  • TV
  • CD/DVD Player
  • Storage Cabinets

General Needs:

  • Regular Size Refrigerator (for kitchen)
  • Storage Cabinets
  • Microwave (for Kitchen area)
