Pastor

Samaria Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC, is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor. We are a small church with an average Sunday school attendance of 25 and our Sunday morning worship service attendance average is 50. Samaria is affiliated with and supports the Southern Baptist Convention. The pastor should be a good communicator, encourager and motivator to our congregation. We are seeking a pastor who will be a strong teacher and leader working with deacons and other committees to minister to our congregation and local community to spread the word of Jesus Christ. The pastor should also put an emphasis on pastoral care. Qualified candidates must have the desire to encourage and lead spiritual growth of all people during Wednesday night Bible study and Sunday morning worship service. Candidate must hold a seminary degree from an accredited seminary or divinity school.
