Lead Pastor - Mount Vernon Baptist Church

Mount Vernon Baptist Church (MVBC), Raleigh, NC is prayerfully pursuing a Lead Pastor. We are seeking a man who is called by God to exercise the gifts God has given him for pastoral ministry. Our Lead Pastor will regularly teach and preach the Bible using the expository method, plan and lead worship services, provide pastoral care to members, and lead the church in evangelism and outreach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lead Pastor will engage in collaborative vision development for the church and communicate that vision to the church staff and congregation. Located in Raleigh, NC, one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, Mount Vernon has an average weekly attendance of 160-190 and a multigenerational congregation that is eager to grow in service to our Lord and to our local community.
