Bi-Vocational Pastor - Pleasant Grove Baptist, Vander

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, located east of Fayetteville in the Vander community is
seeking a bi-vocational or full-time pastor who is a born-again believer with a sure
testimony of salvation and stands in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message.
We are a member of the New South River Baptist Association and the Baptist State
Convention of North Carolina. We are a 120-year-old church with a strong history of
traditional Baptist ministry with an average weekly attendance of less than 50
predominantly senior members.

Our church is seeking a pastor who is a graduate of a Bible College or has attended
Seminary and has pastoral experience, but do not be dissuaded if you are led by the
Lord to apply for this position. The pastor should be gifted in teaching, able to
communicate Scripture and possess leadership in building relationships with the
community.

We also have a family sized parsonage approximately 1 mile from the church with 3
bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, separate study, and a large, detached storage building on the
property if needed.
