Minister of Youth and Young Adults - Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church

Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church in Sanford, NC is seeking an Associate Pastor- Minister of Youth and Young Adults. The Associate Pastor/Minister of Youth and Young Adults at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church is a full-time leadership role responsible for developing and overseeing all ministries for middle school, high school, and young adults (ages 18–30). The position focuses on discipling youth and young adults, fostering their spiritual growth, and integrating them into the broader church through worship, service, and fellowship. Key responsibilities include organizing weekly programs, Bible studies, retreats, and special events; recruiting and training volunteers; building strong relationships with parents, schools, and the community; and maintaining clear communication with church leadership and families. The role also involves strategic planning, curriculum development, and providing pastoral care, counseling, and leadership development. Candidates should have ministry experience, strong organizational and relational skills, a solid theological foundation, and a demonstrated calling to serve, lead, and mentor young people in their faith. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree.
