Administrative Assistant - Part Time - Woodhaven Baptist Church
Woodhaven Baptist Church, Apex, NC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks in a church office, working 15 hours per week in 3-4 hour shifts scattered across Monday through Thursday each week. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to both staff and clients.
Responsibilities include: Manage and maintain files, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Act as a receptionist. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and inquiries. Assist in calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments for team members. Provide general administrative support, including typing documents, preparing printed and digital church communications, and maintaining office supplies. Serve as an assistant to organizational leaders as needed, helping with various tasks to enhance productivity.
Experience: Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher; Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) is essential. Experience in data entry, database management, and managing files is highly valued. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
