Bi-Vocational Pastor - Pleasant Grove, Willow Spring

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located at McGees Crossroads, North Carolina, is seeking a bi-vocational pastor to lead our congregation.

We are a Bible believing congregation, located in a rapidly growing community in Johnston County, affiliated with the Triangle East Baptist Association (TEBA) and the Southern Baptist Convention. We are looking for the man the Lord has chosen for our congregation. He will need strong leadership skills and connect well with both the congregation, church leaders, and the community.

Duties would include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and conducting Sunday Morning Worship
• Wednesday evening Programming
• Wedding ceremonies, funerals, baptisms, baby dedications, and provide input and advice during business meetings
• Other pastoral needs, including (as necessary and available) hospital visitation, prayer, and counseling

The candidate will need good people and communication skills with a passion to reach individuals for the Lord. We desire a pastor who will challenge us to grow and lead the Church.
We are seeking an energetic pastor with the following qualifications:

• Ordained
• a minimum of five (5) years ’experience
• Attended or graduated from an accredited Bible College or Seminary
• Please provide a DVD or web link with two (2) worship services you recently conducted (if available)

Compensation Package:
Salary: $ per year
Vacation: 2 weeks per year after 90 day period of employment
