Associational Mission Strategist

The Elkin Baptist Association, Elkin, NC seeks a *part-time Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) to lead its 17 member churches in beautiful northwest North Carolina. The candidate holds fully to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000. He/she has a heart for pastoral work, a strong desire/vision for missions, previous pastoral and associational experience, theological training, and a specific call to serve as an AMS. *This position will be approximately 20 hours per week. Experience Our Associational Mission Strategist ● must have a heart for pastoral work and a strong desire/vision for missions, ● must have previous pastoral/staff experience, and ● must have previous associational and/or mission experience. Spiritual Life and Education Our Associational Mission Strategist ● must demonstrate a walk with God, ● must meet the biblical qualifications of a gospel minister as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and ● must have some theological training. Leadership Our Associational Mission Strategist ● has a strong vision for associational work. ● is mission-hearted. ● maintains a real relationship and evident walk with God. ● has a specific sense of calling to serve as AMS. ● is a self-starter. ● is a relationship builder. ● is a team builder. ● is a strong communicator. ● manages time and financial resources.
