Director of Children & Afterschool Ministries

First Baptist Church of Sanford is accepting resumés for the full-time position of Director of Children’s & Afterschool Ministries. First Baptist Church has a vibrant and growing ministry to children, through its ministry to those families who attend the church and to other families in the community. The desired candidate will have a growing walk with Christ and the ability and passion to lead children to Jesus and come alongside their parents to help disciple them to maturity. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to effectively counsel from the Bible, are required. A degree from a Bible college or Seminary in children’s ministry, and experience in children’s ministry in a church setting, are preferred.
