Music Minister - Part Time

Ridge Road Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time music minister. We are a growing congregation that emphasizes intergenerational church, innovative and participatory worship, and community involvement. With a history of traditional worship, we are evolving to incorporate traditional, contemporary, and even secular music into our worship. Job responsibilities include directing the choir; assisting the pastor with worship planning, especially the music; assisting with music for weddings, funerals, and other special services; maintaining our music library and overseeing the care of musical equipment; and assisting with the overall ministry and mission of the church. Theological education or church experience is preferred. Proficiency playing a musical instrument and singing solos is also preferred. Job is 15-20 hours/week.
