Minister to Children and Community Engagement

First Baptist Church, Smithfield, NC is seeking a Full-Time Minister to Children and Community Engagement to provide relational leadership to children (birth through fifth grade) and their families and the community including (liaison) Weekday Early Education (WEE), After School Program and Summer Adventures.  This position will plan, conduct and evaluate a comprehensive program which undergirds the spiritual, emotional, and social development for each child, as it relates to their becoming and growing in Christ at FBC Smithfield.  This position will provide opportunities and experiences at the family level for growth in Christian discipleship within and among the families of the church, as well as, outreach to our community with families.  This position will also help support volunteers that work in the community through the Colbert Ministry Center.
