Children's Ministry Director - Part Time
The Church at Perry Creek, Raleigh, NC is seeking to employ a Children's Ministry Director. The Perry Creek Kids (PCK) Director equips children and their families to know Jesus, grow in faith, and go by serving our church, our community and the nations. Know, Grow, Go!
Qualifications: Spiritual Gifts of servanthood, encouragement, leadership, administration, shepherding, and teaching A passion for ministry with children and a deep commitment to growing their faith Basic knowledge of child development and the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for them Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work with diverse age groups effectively.
Responsibilities: Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers to serve weekly Be the face of PCK most weeks by greeting families and running registration Work to assure families that PCK is a welcoming, fun, safe place for their kids to learn about Jesus Manage setup and tear down teams each week Regularly seek feedback from PCK teachers on how to improve the program. Be the point of contact with parents on PCK issues or concerns Insure PCK teachers have the necessary materials and supplies to teach Plan and execute one large PCK event each year, such as a picnic, party, or game day Collaborate with elders to secure theologically aligned and developmentally appropriate resources Meet monthly with Pastor Ulrich to help further develop and implement PCK's vision and integrate PCK into the larger church vision Estimated time commitment is 8-10 hours weekly with a compensation of $10,000 annually.
